Floating in space

Last night we had the rare and distinct pleasure of experiencing the Spiritualized Acoustic Mainline gig at the Shepherd's Bush Empire... Jason Spaceman on acoustic plus a keyboard player, string quartet and backing singers.

Gorgeously opiated gospel music. Amazing. Transcendent.

I'd love to have seen that. In 94 (at Webmedia) we built the first Spiritualized web site. Right in the middle of the build there was a release of Mosaic that permitted background images. We went apeshit with background images. The best thing about it was that, long after the record label had stopped paying us to maintain it, the site persisted and people kept posting to the crude, linear, threadless forum until (I think) 2004 or 2005. A sort of fossil community.
