Yep, we did talk about this already, but it is a subject dear to my heart, so I'll happily add fuel to the fire.
There is all-too-often a belief that "presentation = Powerpoint", an assumption that unfortunately overlooks the realities of how communication works.
Luckily, Seth Godin has (re)published a great post on the subject.
In short, don't use the bloody programme to construct your argument -think first and write out your case, as if you were preparing for a speech (which is exactly what you are doing). Then fire up Powerpoint to help make your presentation more compelling. As Jon Steel said a few weeks back, remember that you are the presentation -the slides are just there to help.
Go on, give it a read -your clients and colleagues will thank you for it.
