Modern art is rubbish

Had a lovely trip to the Tate Britain yesterday morning -the Francis Bacon exhibition was superb (visceral, dark, human).
However, the Turner Prize show was rather Emperor's new clothes -empty architectural archives, sub-Emin 'found' assemblage and plenty of indulgently wanky art-film bollocks. Call me a philistine, but it reeked of intellectuals heaping praise upon work for want of being otherwise thought not to 'get it'.
Far more interesting were the comments posted on the board on the way out:
